Japanese Right-wing Roughs Take Potshots at Chongryon Central Hall

Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- Japanese right-wing roughs committed an act of terrorism by taking potshots at the Central Hall of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) in Tokyo on Feb. 23.

At dawn that day two gangsters, who got off a black car before the hall and hanged around there, sprayed bullets into the gate and were arrested while fleeing.

According to the confirmation of the case, the chief plotter is Satoshi Katsurada, who drove the car, and the shooter is Yoshinori Kawamura.

Satoshi Katsurada is reportedly a diehard right-wing extremist terrorist who was once deputy head of a Japanese right-wing organization. His stooge Yoshinori Kawamura was the ringleader of a gang of roughs and his present regular job is to perpetrate terrorism.

When those terrorists were arrested by the police, several rightist gangs of Japan thronged into the Chongryon Central Hall, raising a disturbance.

The said crime is not an accident but an intolerable reckless act against the DPRK and the Koreans in Japan. It was a deliberate act of terrorism of the right-wing gang timed to coincide with the enforcement of the provocative anti-DPRK tough policy by the Abe group and the creation of the gruesome climate of the daily-escalating suppression of Chongryon. -0-
