A Fierce Struggle against Trump and U.S.




Actions against U.S. President Trump's visit to Seoul were staged across south Korea on Nov. 7 and 8.
In hearty response to the call of the No-Trump Joint Action consisting of over 220 political parties and social organizations, it launched various kinds of actions such as demo, press conference and candlelight resistance on Nov. 7, chanting slogans “Set Trump on the edge!”, “Trump, leave south Korea!” “Totally destroy war lunatic Trump!”
The No-Trump Joint Action held a news conference in front of the Cheongwadae with placards written “We hate Trump”, “Do not come, Trump!”, while pumping curses upon Trump and south Korean authorities.
The Korean Student Federation for the 21st Century and the Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea held a rally in Seoul to criticize Trump’s bellicose remarks and sycophantic and treacherous act of the south Korean authorities.
Religionist including Won Buddhists held a news conference in Seoul and tried to march toward the Cheongwadae.
Universities including Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University and Gyeonghee University posted big-character posters against the U.S. and Trump’s visit to Seoul.  
More than 2 000 members of the anti-Trump, anti-U.S. struggle headquarters and other organizations waged a fierce struggle against Trump's speech outside the "National Assembly" in Youido.
They threw salts into Trump’s photo and pushed effigy depicting Trump down to paint his photo and jam U.S.-made missiles into his mouth, shouting slogans toward an array of cars carrying Trump to the NA.
Meanwhile, on evening of Nov. 7, Trump and his party got a by-blow from the participants in the rally around the Gwanghwamun plaza when they went back to their lodging quarters.
The protestors threw bunches of leaflets critical of the war maniac and war merchant Trump and waste to the car carrying him.
On Nov. 7, the U.S. flags attached to the road lamp were stolen at a time when a rally against Trump was held around the Cheongwadae and on Nov. 8, a ceremony for burning the U.S. flag took place in front of the "NA".
