KCNA Commentary Refutes "Story of North's Manipulation of Cyber-attack"

Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- The conservative media of south Korea are spreading misinformation about the DPRK over the Ransomware cyber-attack that occurred in various countries.

The pseudo media including Yonhap News, Seoul Economic Daily and KBS are putting it that there is assertion that the north is behind the ransomware hacking that attacked the world and that the code of virulent virus that caused the recent incident is similar to that used by the hackers' group suspicious of having linkage with the DPRK.

This is dirty and despicable smear campaign.

Explicitly speaking, the recent story about the "north's manipulation of the recent incident" is pursuant to the conservative forces' bid to tarnish the image of the DPRK making steady victorious progress and to quench the demand for improving the north-south relations mounting significantly high among south Koreans.

The group of conservatives faulted the DPRK for no reason as they are afraid of the independent country bolstering its might while displaying the vitality of its socialist system despite the hostile forces' harsh sanctions and pressure.

That's why they cooked up the clumsy farce in order to internationally isolate the DPRK after branding it as a criminal and chill the atmosphere for the improvement of the north-south ties.

Utterly ridiculous is the movement of the pseudo-media getting clamorous about the "north's behind-the-scene manipulation" to the tune of the conservative forces' racket for escalating confrontation with the DPRK.

By origin, the south Korean forces are apt to blame the DPRK whenever something deplorable happen either inside and outside.

At times of Choenan warship sinking case, case of breakdown of network of peasants' association, Wonjon hacking case, March 20 hacking case, GPS jamming case and drone case, they groundlessly linked them with the DPRK only to be disgraced after the disclosure of truth.

They are obsessed to the extremes with smear campaign and fabrication.

There are strong voices commenting that the recent case can not be seen as an act done by the north and the code might have been imitated to make them look like the north's.

It is only the south Korean puppet forces out of many countries and regions that have fallen victim to the recent cyber-attack that are relating the case with the DPRK.

Instead, lots of experts of the world are blaming the U.S. for the case.

However, even the puppet military are chiming in the puppet media, getting themselves busy putting on a higher alert the "posture for shielding cyber-attack information theatre".

The smear campaign of the puppet conservatives would only reveal their wretched plight finding themselves in the worst fix, forsaken by the nation.

Those who are behind the "story about north's involvement in the cyber-attack" will be made to pay a dear price for their crimes.

The group of conservatives and pseudo-media serving it should not run wild, clearly mindful that no mercy will be shown for those keen on tarnishing the dignified image of the DPRK. -0-
