Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the 70th anniversary
of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the progressive mankind of the
world recall the feats of the great Generalissimos
Kim Il Sung and
Kim Jong Il who created a new history in the cause of global socialism by leading the WPK.
President
Kim Il Sung
clarified the Juche theory of socialism in the course of the struggle
to reject modern revisionism and strengthen the Korean revolution and
the world socialist movement and had worked heart and soul to carry it
into practice.
Under his guidance, the WPK fully supported other nations' struggle
for independence and socialism against imperialism and strove for the
unity of world socialist movement, proceeding from the principled and
independent stand.
In the late 20th century, leader
Kim Jong Il
authored "The Historical Lesson in Building Socialism and the General
Line of Our Party", "Socialism Is a Science" and other celebrated works
and had the historic Pyongyang declaration adopted, so as to show the
road ahead of the world socialist movement.
Thanks to his idea and leadership, the WPK developed into an
ever-victorious and steel-strong party and made a great contribution to
the victorious advance of the cause of global socialism with the Songun
(military-first) politics, thus winning the absolute trust of world
progressive parties and people.
It is still and creditably charging its mission as the vanguard unit
in accomplishing the socialist cause under the guidance of supreme
leader
