The UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following statement concerning the 67th anniversary of the foundation of the regular revolutionary
armed forces of the DPRK;
Today the 8th of February is the 67th anniversary of the foundation of the regular revolutionary armed forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea . It was on this day 67 years in 1948 that the great leader President KIM IL SUNG transformed the guerrilla Korean People's Revolutionary Army into a standing regular armed the Korean People's Army. Since its foundation the KPA ,the revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea has scored many victories over the US aggressors and upheld the dignity and honour of the DPRK.
By thwarting US imperialist expansionism in the tense far East the
revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK are making a tangible contribution to world peace !
