Rodong Sinmun Calls for Intensified Struggle against Imperialists' Ideological and Cultural Poisoning

Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- The revolutionary people should not make even a single step back in the struggle against the imperialists' ideological and cultural poisoning, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article.
The imperialists have become evermore frantic in their reactionary ideological offensive to keep capitalism from falling into the abyss of ruin and dampen the growing desire of humankind for socialism, the article notes, and goes on:
A single concession on the ideological front would lead to two and three concessions and it would become impossible to defend socialism in the end.
The struggle for foiling the imperialists' crafty and persistent bourgeois ideological and cultural poisoning is a war without gun-report.
In recent years the U.S.-led imperialist forces toppled governments in some countries through ideological and cultural poisoning and psychological warfare and built pro-U.S. regimes. The imperialists loudly advertise them as "bloodless revolution" and "color revolution".
This proves that the imperialists are shouting "bravo" over the fact that the reactionary ideological and cultural poisoning helps them achieve their aggression aims hard to attain through military provocations. This, at the same time, indicates what enormous efforts they are directing to their operations for ideological and cultural poisoning.
The reality teaches a serious lesson that what is essential in the confrontation between socialism and capitalism is confrontation of ideology and that it is, therefore, imperative to consolidate the ideological position in every way without allowing even a single concession.
The article calls on the countries aspiring after independence and socialism and their peoples to be clearly aware of the danger of the imperialists' ideological and cultural poisoning and intensify the struggle against it. -0-
