Palestinian Ambassador to DPRK Hosts Reception


    Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Palestinian Ambassador to the DPRK Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan gave a reception at the embassy Wednesday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.
    Present there on invitation were Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun, Thae Hyong Chol, president of Kim Il Sung University who is also minister of Higher Education, Hyon Sang Ju, chairman of the C.C., the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, and other officials concerned.
    Ismail Ahmed Mohamed Hasan said in his speech that the revolutionary life of Kim Jong Il serves as a distinguished example as the gifted thinker and theoretician and creative state leader.
    He said that the Korean people have made a new leap forward and innovations in the struggle for building developed and prosperous socialist economy under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
    He expressed thanks for the resolute stand of the DPRK which has always supported and encouraged the just cause of the Palestinian people.
    Pak Ui Chun said that Kim Jong Il who performed immortal feats before the era and history would be always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and world progressives.
    He referred to the fact that the friendly relations between the two countries provided and brought into full bloom by President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il together with Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas are invariably growing stronger under the deep care of Kim Jong Un.
    The DPRK government and people will extend invariable support and solidarity to the just cause of the Palestinian people in the future, too, he added. -0-
