Britain should not prop up the south Korean puppet fascist regime !

British taxpayers money(no one knows how much but it must  is being wasted on throwing expensive parties and lavish events for the discredited fascist puppet dictator of south Korea Park Geun Hye.  This is at a time when public spending in the UK is being cut to the bone yet they can find the money for a puppet fascist dictator from what is 'non state' , south Korea is a non state because it is 100% the creation of the US without any independence. As Park  was being welcomed by the Queen and Tory prime minister Cameron and co south Korea took steps to ban the Unified Progressive Party .  Thus it would appear that Britain is backing the repressive policies of south Korea , shame on the British government.
Regrettably the UK has for long played a reactionary role in Korea which even goes back as far as the early 20th century when Britain connived at Japan's colonial invasion of Korea . Then in 1950 the UK supported US imperialism's war against the young Democratic People's Republic of Korea . Rather than fighting for "freedom " and "democracy " as is claimed they fought for US imperialism against national liberation, against the liberation of Korea , they fought to prop up the reactionary fascist Syngham Rhee puppet regime . As one former British soldier in the Korean war admitted openly " If the United Nations hadn't intervened, the chances are there would just be one Korea." This statement speaks volumes. It shows the the US imperialists and the troops from their satellite states such as the UK prevented the reunification of Korea the cherished desire of the Korean people. Indeed there could (and should) have been only one Korea in which the Korean nation lived in peace and harmony.  The statement betrays the fact the British troops acted as mercenaries for US imperialism.
The British forces suffered massive losses . The 27th Brigade  and the 29th Brigade of Britain, which were the first to come to the Korean front, were torn to shreds, hit hard by the Korean People's Army on the front of the Raktong River. When U.S. troops were surrounded on the bank of the Chongchon River, the 27th Brigade was driven out as bullet shields and suffered a heavy loss.
One of the regiments sent to fight in Korea by the reactionary  authorities of the UK was the so-called Royal Irish Rifles   a regiment which had been involved in the repression of the nationalist people of northern Ireland and which later became the notorious "Ulster Defence Regiment" responsible for many atrocities during the northern Irish troubles,
Thus the participation of Britain in the Korean War was totally reactionary and unjust . An act of participating a war waged by a big power against a small country. It is not something that should be honoured or celebrated but a shameful episode which saw British young men reduced to mercenaries and cannon fodder for US imperialism.
Now it seems just in the past when Britain supported sent troops to support Syngham Rhee, the puppet and oppressor of the Korean people the British government is repeating this shameful history by support Park Geun Hye the latest incarnation of successive puppet fascist regimes. Instead of sticking to past pro US , reactionary and imperialistic policies Britain can change its policies, it can show Park Geun Hye the door and pursue an independent policy of friendship with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea !
