Statement from Peru

COMMITTEE OF FRIENDSHIP AND SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLES

REJECT act of savagery AGAINST CULTURE AND FREEDOM OF THOUGHT OF JAPANESE AUTHORITIES

The Japanese authorities in a despicable act that reminds us of the Holy Inquisition, which persecuted intellectuals and scientists, seized on Friday February 24 books, magazines, recordings, study documents a group of scholars from Japan, returning a study visit to the Republic of Korea. This is a despicable attack on free thought, freedom of ideas and democracy, which can only be expected from governments intransigent enemies sectarian and cultural exchange and advancement of ideas.

But as the prosecution failed and crime against the ideas advanced in the past, as well as book burning, destruction of documents could not stop the advancement of innovative ideas and revolutionary, the Japanese government and can not all retrograde stop the spread of new ideas in the consciousness of Japanese people.

The more reactionary by preventing the entry of materials to study the DPRK, Juche Idea and shall be disclosed in the veins of the peoples of the world, enriching the struggle for sovereignty and independence.

Our solidarity with the Japanese brothers that are repressed and persecuted, by the fact that scholars and intellectuals who gathered the best of world culture and bring his research to freedom of thought and the development of world culture.

We demand the Japanese government to return all study documents the brothers who suffered an unjustifiable vexation and publicly apologize to them by the barbarity.
