KCNA Terms 'Nuclear Security Summit' Farce by Nuclear Criminals

Pyongyang, February 29 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and south Korea's Lee Myung Bak regime are openly justifying the Seoul "nuclear security summit".

They claim that "the summit would mark the starting point for realizing a world without nuclear weapons" and that "it would be a very hopeful option."

This is shameless sophism to cover up their true colors as nuclear criminals and their crimes and deceive the international community.

The U.S. is the world's biggest nuclear weapons state and the chief culprit which sneaked nuclear weapons into the Korean Peninsula.

The south Korean authorities are nuclear maniacs who turned south Korea into a nuclear advance base for the U.S. and the hotbed of nuclear war.

Irony is that the nuclear criminals are set to host the "nuclear security summit" in south Korea, one of the world's dangerous nuclear magazines, during the nuclear war exercises when a war may break out any moment.

The Lee group has put much effort into advertising the agenda items to justify the Seoul "summit".

The core of the nuclear security is to reduce and dismantle nuclear weapons. There can be no nuclear security apart from it.

Nevertheless, they made the transfer of nuclear materials, minimization of highly enriched uranium and other issues as agenda items and asserted that they would make contribution to building "a world without nuclear weapons ". This only reveals the deceptive nature of the "summit".

Intolerable is that the Lee group of traitors said the Seoul "summit" would be of important significance for south Korea, in particular, as it is exposed to "nuclear threat".

The nuclear threats to the Korean Peninsula come from the U.S. and south Korean authorities which are obsessed by reckless nuclear ambition.

The DPRK has become the target of the U.S. nukes deployed in south Korea and the heavy clouds of a nuclear war hang over the Korean Peninsula. This is the stark reality of the peninsula.

No other nation in the world has been exposed to longer nuclear threats than the Korean nation. The nuclear threat to the Korean people is by no means an abstract concept.

The Lee group's talk about "nuclear threat from the north" is a mockery of and insult to the Korean people and mankind who hope to see the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world denuclearized.

It is imperative to remove the nuclear threats from the U.S. and south Korea to substantially ensure nuclear security and peace in the peninsula.

The nuclear security summit should serve as a gathering for revealing the nuclear war strategy of the U.S. and south Korean authorities from historical point of view and for withdrawing nukes from south Korea.

Without discussion of these matters, the summit will just turn to the theatre of an armchair argument and will increase nuclear threat in the peninsula. -0-
