Any Threat and Blackmail Will Not Work on DPRK: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The U.S. should draw due lesson from its bankrupt hostile policy towards the DPRK for this year and take a right choice.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says this in a bylined article.

This year the U.S. made persistent and vicious efforts to isolate and stifle the DPRK as never before, the article notes, and goes on:

Violence, terror, psychological warfare and the like are main methods of aggression employed by the U.S. imperialists at present. The U.S. imperialists would put the strong-arm policy to the fore or use the methods of terror and psychological warfare before anything else in keeping with situation and object and, if necessary, combine such ploys. Anyhow, what they have attached special importance is the way of threat and blackmail. But such way could never work on the DPRK.

The conclusion the Korean people came to this year again is that they should heighten the vigilance against the cunning double-dealing tactics of the U.S. to the maximum and resolutely take tougher attitude toward the tough policy of the U.S. warmongers.

The DPRK will always emerge victorious in the battle to defend socialism as it has the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu, the people with firm will and faith that they are sure to win in the fight with the enemy and the invincible army fully prepared in politico-ideological and military technical aspects. -0
